Claire Thomas

I am 24 and stepmother to eighteen-month-old Nicholas, whom I have raised since he was three weeks old. I have also been a stepchild myself since my early teens, but have since found out step-parenting isn't as easy as it looks! I live with my partner and his parents in sunny Yorkshire, where I work full-time as an administrator and part-time as a journalist. In my spare time I enjoy knitting, crocheting, cooking, walking and doing anything at all with my stepson. I also run a web community on LiveJournal called Wicked Step which offers support and advice to step-parents from all backgrounds.
