Every year, 35,000 gifted and talented children are born in the UK. Many will grown up to be the doctors and philosophers, musicians and physicists, artists and leaders of tomorrow.
But, without support, the gifts given to many of these children will die and they will never become the adults they were meant to be.
NAGC exists to improve gifted and talented children and young people’s emotional and social skills; to give them confidence to make their own way in the world and to achieve their dreams and ambitions.
We also recognise that they cannot do it alone.
We therefore work with parents and carers and the whole family to provide them with the skills and confidence they need to help bring up a gifted and talented child.
Finally, we work with professionals that support children and young people, parents, carers and families to provide them with the information, advice and confidence they need to work with gifted and talented children.
NAGC has been providing this support for 40 years.
Each year we provide about 10,000 children, young people and adults with information, advice and support through the activities we run.
Our vision is to help every gifted and talented child or young person in every family in every part of the country to maximise their potential and achieve their dreams.
