I am 41 years old and live near Cirencester in Gloucestershire. I grew up in Bristol, where I trained and worked as a registered nurse, specialising in gynaecology. I also spent two years nursing in Sydney, Australia, which was great fun.
I met Jonny soon after my return to the UK and we were married in 1994. I gave up nursing in 1995 to look after our first baby – George - who is now eleven. He started ‘big’ school in September - a day I’d been dreading for a long time!
I had my second baby 19 months later – a daughter, Mary, who is nearly ten. As a baby, she was somewhat less laid-back than George, so we left (needed!) a much bigger gap between her and our third child, who, although now six – is always referred to as ‘little’ Annie!
I enjoy eating and drinking with friends (and without), and spending time with my family. I am teaching myself to bake (good days and bad days!) and have two dogs, Polly and Dennis, who keep me fit now that the children are at school.
