Elaine is a qualified teacher, lecturer and trainer and holds a BA (Hons) Degree, a Certificate in Montessori Education, Diploma in Nursery Management and a Further Education Adult Teaching Certificate. She is also a qualified NVQ Assessor and Internal Verifier and has a Certificate in Psychology and Counselling.
Elaine has over 20 years experience in business and education. She has worked in the UK and USA and is interested in early childhood development, brain development and sensorial education together with special educational needs. She has worked with a wide variety of learning difficulties and disabilities and has advised and contributed to many special educational needs programmes, publications and articles.
Elaine is the mother of a gifted child and works as the NAGC Education Consultant, writing many articles and factsheets. She is also their Helpline Manager where she give advice, support and guidance to families and professionals worldwide, on high ability and all related issues and needs.
