As the mother of 6 and grandmother of now 7, I have had plenty of practice when it comes to potty training...my own children were never a problem and were all out of nappies day and night by 2 years old. I think that most children are ready to start the potty training process by the time they are 18 months, when 'action and consequence' are being learned and it shouldn't take more than a few weeks. My grandchildren on the other hand were a different matter and after doing a bit of my own research I discovered they were not the only ones! So it was that I came up the idea which has now grown into a multinational way of 'potty training'...©My Wee Friend ™.
©My Wee Friend ™ appears as an ordinary black sticker that is applied to the inner base of a 'flat bottomed ' potty. When the child does a 'wee' a smiley face will appear, thus giving the encouragement to go back to the potty for the same reaction once the potty has been washed out. In effect, the child potty trains itself.
©My Wee Friend ™ faces are simple, they are not associated with any expensive brand or character, just familiar faces that a toddler will recognize.
©My Wee Friend ™ when applied correctly will last in the potty for approximately 12 weeks and cleaning the potty in the same way you would normally, is fine as long as no abrasive cleaners are used.
